The thee districts within Region nine had been competing for three days where two local teams were successful.
A Merimbula pairing took out the open pairs, while a Tura duo led the senior pairs playoffs.
Held at the Merimbula greens, a full series of competitions were held with mixed pairs taking the greens on Sunday in two sets of five ends. Winners were Narooma’s Leila Gosper and John Breust.
There were three teams battling out in the open and senior pairs, and the triples tournaments.
The Merimbula and Tura combinations were drawn to play on Monday morning, but overcame fancied opponents from Adaminaby, Malua Bay, Cooma and Tuross Head. Winning teams will progress to the State Play-offs in October.
