The format of the night, being a handicap event where any level of player can be pitted against any other level of player, provided plenty of entertaining squash and crowd involvement.
The night featured a first-up Claxton family feud, and some close results despite appearing lop-sided on the card. Officials said it was a great spectacle as the crowds cheers and jeers played a part in deciding handicaps on the night
In the plate, Pete Claxton played a fantastic match against Chris Simos, who had returned to the courts after a few years off and players were delighted to welcome him back, but Claxton won the night.
The calcutta final came down to Alec Bowles and Tony Gordon. Despite a big handicap for Gordon, Bowles proved too strong, clinching a one-point win. Interested players can call Matt Fanning on 0429 952 220 or Alex Wakeford on 0401 544 671.
