Tragic death of local horse trainer sends shockwaves through equestrian community

The Western Australian equestrian community is in mourning following the tragic death of local horse trainer Hana Dickson.

Ms Dickson, 31, fell from her horse during training in Karnup on Saturday morning, and is understood to have hit a tree.

Ambulance crews were called to the Jarrah Road property about 9.30am.

Ms Dickson was rushed to Rockingham Hospital but died shortly after arrival.
