Chartist Richard Pritchard's portfolio shot up to more than $106,000 in week one and it may be worth a little less at $105,000 in week two but that's enough to lead the pack if, like me, you do not count the Dartboard.
The Chartist again did well out of oil and gas producer Santos, whose share price rose on takeover speculation and held the gains for week two.
Gold Opals Investing Club has moved into second place, growing its portfolio to $103,000 despite being underwater with Domino's Pizza, whose share price has fallen from about $57 to $54 over the past fortnight.
We will reserve judgment on that one, with many analysts tipping Domino's to be a winner from consumers having more money in their pockets because of the fall in petrol prices.
For the first two weeks of this race the big banks' share prices have held steady.
It will interesting to see if our tipsters holding big bank shares such as Simon Lawson (ANZ) the AFR's Phil Baker (CBA) and the Gold Opals (NAB) will have regrets, with bank share prices seemingly set to keep sliding.
The Dartboard's pick, gold miner Resolute Mining, has maintained it share price gains of week one to be one of the best-performing shares over the fortnight.
