Keith is known to countless fans and this is obvious in the welcome given to him by audiences round the world.
He has just returned from a successful tour of Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland, including appearances at the Gympie Muster.
“The concert is just me, my guitars, a ukulele and a hat,” Keith said.
Keith’s program contains some old favourites from The Seekers, a touch of Nashville, some beautiful original ballads from his three solo CDs and a few covers of hits from the 60s to the 80s.
His solo CDs include Secrets of the Heart, released in 2004, Sunday, released in 2007 and Smile Now, released in 2010.
Six songs on Sunday were a collaboration with writer/poet Frank Howson.
Throughout his show, he shares some amusing anecdotes from over 50 years on the international music scene.
The concert is a solo show by Keith and it features some of his all time favourites as well as his own version of a few Seekers' hits.
He accompanies himself on his 1967 Maton 12 string guitar, which is the guitar that has made The Seekers’ instrumental sound so unique.
He also has taken up the ukulele and features a couple of new songs that he has co-written specially for this instrument.
Audiences love this new material and sing along after only a few bars of each song.
He was recently in Melbourne for the world premiere of Georgy Girl The Seekers Musical, which has been receiving rave reviews for the season at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Melbourne.
The musical will be in Sydney at The State Theatre from 9th April 2016.
Keith is such an accomplished musician having spent much of the recent past performing concert tours with The Seekers in Australia and the United Kingdom as well as performing solo concerts throughout Australia and the UK.
An Evening With Keith Potger AO promises to be a fun and entertaining night for all who attend. The night is presented by Club Sapphire on Friday, February 19.
The show will start at 8pm and tickets cost $30.
Tickets can be booked over the phone at 6495 1306 or can be purchased at Club Sapphire’s reception desk.
