The Freeballers were drawn against The 7th Team.
The 7th Team were the victors defeating the Freeballers 46 points to 35 in a neck and neck grand final full of skill and good clean fun. The Freeballers, consisting of Rory Goodridge, Phillip Smith, Andrew Tolentino, Tom Hall, Therese Abbot, Michelle Kelly, Linda Smith, Ann Vroombout, Dwayne Kelly and Amy Nicholson put up a strong fight but went down by 11 points.
The winning team consisted of Jeremy Scerri (also runner up male best and fairest), Brys Palat, James Pollard, Naomi Shoobridge, Kezie Apps, Brylie Williams and Harry Senior.
Kerrie Graham, of Merimbula Basketball Association said that all the games were played in good spirits throughout the entire competition.
“All players were involved in good team games with a lot of fast breaks and some good rebounding by their centres,” she said.

This weekend is the grand final for all remaining age groups with divisions 1, 2 and 3 and girls all played this Friday night. Saturday morning is the 12s and A and B grand finals.
