Mr Redman will be attempting to cycle more than 1000 kilometres throughout the month of October as part of the Great Cycle Challenge, a national fundraising initiative for Children’s Medical Research Institute.
More than 6,300 people from around Australia are partaking in the challenge where cyclists ride to achieve a personal distance goal while also raising money towards world-leading childhood cancer research.
Mr Redman has raised more than $500 so far but is hoping to raise $1000, which would be around $1 for every kilometre ridden.
