The Sea Eagles won most centre clearances to control midfield play and set up possession and win 16.10 (106) to 5.11 (41).
Bega lacked size and control with play favouring the Sea Eagles from the opening bounce.
Chris Dickinson proved too big and strong for most to handle, while Luke Taylor and Ryan Dakis worked hard on the edges.
In the front lines, it was Reggie and Troy O'Loghlin setting up points for the Sea Eagles with accurate kicking from range alongside sharp shooter Bayden Pilbeam.
Mick Gallagher was a standout for the Bombers with some strong defensive efforts, as was John Harney in contested marks.
Coach Chris Dwyer used his speed to push play forward for Bega on a number of occasions, but the side didn't seem to have finishing power to miss out on numerous goals.
Bega rallied late in the third quarter, but the Sea Eagles were still making some incisive runs and scoring heavily.
The final quarter saw the Bombers lift again, but play was heavily contested on the wings and through the midfield for Tathra to maintain scoring pressure.
The clock ticked away and the final whistle saw the Sea Eagles with the 60-point win to advance to the preliminary final next week.
