The two clubs merged in March this year with the enlarged membership attracting new members, including Norma Bird, the latest person to be inducted.
Merimbula veterinarian Graeme Collins was a very entertaining guest speaker at the last meeting mixing amusing anecdotes from his long career with stories of the more difficult decisions of his profession.
Probus club members celebrated Christmas in July at the Merimbula Wharf Restaurant which included a tour of the aquarium.
The next outing on August 28 will be to Lumen Christi Catholic College.
