The Seahawks couldn’t make the finals but an enthusiastic bunch made the trek to tackle the Molonglo Juggernauts at Stirling Oval, Canberra.
Molonglo led 5.8 (38) to 1.2 (8) at quarter-time.
The Bay found their rhythm in the second quarter and kicked five goals to three to cut the margin to 18 points at half-time.
However, Molonglo’s depth proved too much as it ran away to win 19.16 (130) to 10.11 (71).
John Tait earned best on ground honours for the Seahawks while Shaun Green and Ross Hummel were the multiple goal kickers.
