As there is no footpath along this street, people are forced to walk on the road.  This is very dangerous as cars don’t often obey the speed limit.  In saying that, even when they do it is easy to miss seeing a person walking along the road as cars are parked on either side of Reid Street.

With the increased flow of traffic up Reid Street resulting from the roundabout, can the council please consider a footpath for the safety of our residents and holidaymakers.

I have emailed this request to the Bega Valley Shire Council and would appreciate a reply.
