Two spectators have been dealt strong suspensions from regional grounds following an incident on June 21.
Following an under 16s game at Berrambool recently, the police were called and subsequently arrests were made to two individuals.
The FSCFA called a meeting, which was held last Wednesday.
A male spectator was suspended for two years for abuse of referees and inciting violence.
A female spectator was suspended for five years for attempted violence.
The FSCFA has, and always will, act swiftly to stamp out any improper conduct at games.
The FSCFA will be working closely with all clubs, to ensure the events that occurred on June 21 are not repeated.
The FSCFA has asked all clubs to reinforce the Association’s code of conduct to both players and spectators.
Increased security measures have been discussed and will be implemented at all grounds for safety in due course.
“Violence and abuse will never be tolerated at any football games, and the FSCFA will continue to take disciplinary measures to those involved,” association secretary Kerryn Constable said.
“Further penalties may be handed out pending ongoing investigations.”
