On Saturday, July 4 Year 11 students from Lumen Christi Catholic College will be holding a sausage sizzle outside Merimbula Woolworths to help raise money for their immersion trip to Pontevedra in the Philippines.

In January 2016 the students will spend two weeks living with and assisting the Sisters of St Anthony.
They will prepare food for local children, visit a local school and university and get a glimpse of what life is like for others.
The students are very passionate about social justice and recently joined other Lumen Christi students at a winter sleepout.
The school said that all support for their fundraising efforts is greatly appreciated.
