The Alan Jones and Ray Hadley experiment appears to be paying off for Brisbane talkback station 4BC, with the station recording another bump in the radio ratings.

The Sydney shock jocks began being broadcast on 4BC on April 28 in the wake of the merger between the Fairfax Radio and Macquarie Radio networks, which resulted in 18 staff at the station's Cannon Hill headquarters losing their jobs.
4BC's audience share rose from 4.6 to 5.0 per cent in the third GFK ratings survey of 2015, improving on an increase of 0.6 percentage points recorded just before the sackings.
Pop music station 97.3 FM continues to lead the ratings overall, despite a slight drop in the June survey.
It has a 13.7 per cent audience share, ahead of Nova 106.9 on 12.3 per cent and 612 ABC on 10.8 per cent.
97.3's Robyn, Terry and Bob also took out the key breakfast slot, remaining steady on 13.6 per cent, with Ash, Kip & Luttsy on Nova just pipping the ABC's Spencer Howson 12.7 to 12.6 per cent.
Alan Jones took 4BC breakfast from 6.1 to 6.4 per cent, with Ray Hadley boosting Mornings from 5.4 to 5.8 per cent.
Rock station Triple M was a big winner in the June survey, jumping 1.5 per cent overall from a 7.6 to 9.1 per cent share, with gains of about 2.0 per cent across most shifts.
However it came at the expense of Southern Cross Austereo stablemate hit105 (formerly B105) which recorded drops around 0.5 per cent on average.
