From enquiries through local residents, we learned that an alternative road does exist from Camilla Court to Berrambool Drive, but it was closed off by Bega Council when complaints were lodged by some residents who objected about traffic.
Should a serious fire occur with lives endangered and properties lost, we are sure that Bega Council would not be too happy with a class action against them for the road closure.
If any residents share the same concern, we would be happy to take a petition to council.
