Two premises in Pambula and one in Merimbula were broken into in the early hours of Sunday morning, August 24. At about 2.25am offenders have smashed the front glass door to gain entry to Sapphire Blue Real Estate before ransacking the offices and making off with a small amount of cash.
The Idlewilde Town and Country Motor Inn was targeted about 4.20am with the offenders disturbed by the managers. The thieves broke in through a front window and made off with a small amount of cash.
A premises was broken into in Hill Street, Merimbula, the premises being an unlocked garage.
Sergeant Cliff Scarlet of Merimbula Police said: “Local police wish to remind people to be vigilant with the locking of cars, garages, windows and doors, that bad people do come to nice places and will happily take advantage of any opportunity and to report any suspicious behavior to police at the time.”
