Locals from Merimbula and Tura Beach joined more than 80 people for the second annual Vietnam Veterans golf day at the Lakes Entrance golf club.

The Saturday event held over the weekend welcomed players from the Gippsland area north to Tura Beach for an appreciation round of golf for Vietnam veterans.
The players enjoyed the hospitality shown to them by the local members and their friends.
The tees were placed forward on the course and the teams in the competition were able to compile some very good scores as a result.
After a day on the course a lunch was provided by the ladies in the club house.
