A Police Citizens Youth Clubs (PCYC) Blue Light Disco at Club Sapphire on Friday, July 11 attracted plenty of dancers. There were two sessions, one for those aged eight-12 and a late session for those aged 13 to 17 years with music provided by Aeromix.

One of the volunteer organisers, Jasmin Newman said: “The event was a huge success, raising $1055 in funds to go back to the PCYC Far South Coast.
“We were thrilled at the support of the local kids of all ages. The kids really got behind it and showed up in great numbers and came from Bega, Eden, Wolumla, Pambula and Merimbula.
There was a team of around 10 volunteers to put the night on, with the assistance and support of Club Sapphire and DJ Griff Butters who also volunteered his time.”
