On Thursday Merimbula Public School visited Jigamy at Broadwater to take part in a range of Indigenous activities to celebrate NAIDOC Week. They learnt how to throw a boomerang, participated in dance, enjoyed bush tucker and listened to stories from Aboriginal elders. The activities ran for three days during which time students from Eden, Lumen Christi Pambula, Merimbula, Wolumla, Tanja, Bega, Tathra, Mumbulla and Candelo visited Jigamy. Pambula Public School held its NAIDOC celebrations with a special assembly on Friday.
