The Bullpups had a dominant first half showing, picking up the first three tries to lead 18-0.
However, as defence got more desperate the Bullpups gave up some penalties that allowed the Colts to score.
A heavy tackle saw one of the Bullpups sent from the field for 10 minutes, and the Colts took advantage.
In the second half, momentum shifted and it looked as though the Colts could take the win.
The Bullpups found themselves two points behind the Colts in the final 10 minutes.
However, the Bullpups had other ideas, stringing together heavy-hitting defence and fast forward motion.
The Bullpups positioned themselves in the attack with about five minutes to play and were able to spread the ball wide to score.
Taking the lead with about three minutes left on the clock, the Bullpups slammed the Colts’ attack and ran out the clock for the win.
This weekend sees Merimbula-Pambula in Tathra, where the under 18s will play Moruya and the league-tag will play the Eagle-ettes.
