There were barbecues in several places around Merimbula on Friday, May 16 to thank volunteers and celebrate the work they do.

At Hylands Corner the Pambula Merimbula Lions Club members were sizzling in the sun as the barbecue got underway while super trickster, Rhys Davies was performing some daring juggling acts with a chain saw.
At Bimbimbie around 40 volunteers attended a barbecue in their honour although they are only a portion of the overall volunteers who help at Bimbimbie.
