The woodturners group, the Wandering Termites returned to Merimbula to enjoy the weather and practise their art.
The Wandering Termites have returned to Merimbula. The group of woodturners from the local area and further afield in NSW and Victoria are camping at the Tween Waters Caravan Park on Fishpen complete with 17 lathes and one scroll sawer.

In a tarpaulin woodturning city at the caravan park men were busily making anything from pens to salt and pepper grinders while their wives enjoyed some craft work including making origami boxes.
The group has been coming to Merimbula to enjoy the winter sun for the last five years.
