After a slightly damp and overcast morning, students from Lumen Christi Catholic College enthusiastically participated in the annual LCCC Cross Country Carnival at the Pambula sporting fields during the final week of term 1. Students dressed in red (Bobberrer), white (Baringa), yellow (Monaroo) and blue (Gudu) to proudly represent their individual college houses.

The continuous drizzle could not dampen the spirits of the students, as groups from kindergarten to Year 12 competed.
Included in the day’s events were many novelty activities for students less-inclined to participate in running events. These included a frisbee competition, tug-of-war and an obstacle course for the primary students.
Students and staff proudly supported their college houses encouraging participants in every event. Eventual winners, Bobberrer, scored a total of 2163 points, followed by Monaroo, Baringa and finally Gudu.
