Fiji, France, Ireland and Scotland were covered by talks from women from those countries while Joyce McGill spoke about Eygpt and Teresa Hamer spoke about working for three weeks with nuns following the recent typhoon in Philippines. Teresa is collecting money to repair the roof of a home housing nine children in the Philippines and raised $300 while at the event with a further $120 raised through the sale of bell clips for purses, made by people in the Philippines.
Argentinan, Veronica Valderrama, gave a Spanish dance display and there was a display of costumes from Morocco, courtesy of the Pambula Merimbula CWA who has studied Morocco last year.
