UPDATE: Person freed waiting on Snowy Hydro SouthCare helicopter's arrival.

UPDATE: Police have reported both sides of the road are blocked and it could be 20 minutes before the person is freed. Tree is across the highway.

The News Weekly understands police, ambulance and rescue services are working to free a person trapped between Pambula and Eden. 

The Snowy Hydro SouthCare helicopter has been called.

The News Weekly has been told by people in the traffic queue that traffic is queuing back to Eden tip area.
