Tests show all 12 beaches returning ‘Good’ results, meaning there are less than 41 Enterococci colony forming units (CFU) per 100ml of water.
A ‘Good’ result is the highest possible rating under the Beachwatch scheme.
The threshold for water not suitable for swimming is more than 201 enterococci CFU/100ml.
Beachgoers can swim and play with confidence, knowing that the Sapphire Coast continually offers some of the cleanest beaches in NSW
