In keeping with tradition Spencer Park was again was the vocal point for the 16 to 30 year olds listening to Triple Js hottest 100.
However police were again concerned with the lack of parental supervision and the consumption of alcohol by minors. In saying that there were only a few minor incidents requiring police intervention.
About 4.30pm a 30-year-old local male was given a move on direction for being intoxicated and acting aggressively.
About 4.30pm a 20-year-old local female was issued infringements for repeatedly swearing at Spencer Park. She was also given a move on direction to leave the area.
A 25-year-old female was given a move on direction from Spencer Park at 5.30pm for being intoxicated and swearing at Police.
About 8pm an intoxicated 17-year-old female from Nethercote was removed from Spencer Park into the care of her family.
A 19-year-old Lochiel male will receive a $300 fine for offensive behaviour and two $220 fines for failing to comply with move on directions.
A 19-year-old Tura Beach male received a $220 fine for failing to comply with a move on direction after an incident at McDonalds at 9pm.
At 9.40pm a 17-year-old youth from Bega and 24-year-old male from Bega each received $350 fines for hiding (trespassing) on a private property on Monaro Street after an incident at McDonald’s. Both were intoxicated and removed from the area.
