The day’s events culminated in a dinner at the surf club to offer past and present surf club members the opportunity to wander down memory lane. It was a chance for some of the community’s surf club pioneers and stalwarts to shine and for all to reflect on just how much the local surf club has contributed to the safety of local beaches and the betterment of our community.
There were about 180 guests at the dinner which was catered by the Pambula Rotary Club.
Life member, Jim McGrath unveiled the centenary plaque celebrating the milestone.
