Pambula Merimbula Lions “Youth of the Year Dinner Dance” was held at the
Pambula Beach Surf Life Saving Club on Thursday, December 9 and was attended by
about 150 guests from around Australia.
organiser Ric Vanderbom said that the Youth of the Year competition comprised
five stages: local club level, zone, district, state, and national. The prizes
consisted of a 10-day trip to New Zealand for the state winners plus a trip to
the overall national winner’s area which in this year belongs to 2013 Lumen
Christi College HSC student Molly Campbell. Molly also received a trip to any
country of her choosing.
